Eco-Friendly Product Review Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream
Multi-purpose Beauty Workhorse . I travel relentlessly; many flights lasting well over 12 hours. The low humidity and dry air in pressurized airplane cabins can be quite uncomfortable. Dry eyes, skin and nasal membranes are a traveler’s enemy. And airline restrictions do not allow me to tote the multitudes of products needed to stay moist and hydrated. What’s a girl to do?? I had to find this magical, mystical, and difficult to find product.
Product description
There are two primary reasons Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream sounded so alluring. It’s made with all natural ingredients and it’s multi-functional. The product comes in a 4 ounce plastic jar with loving affirmations printed all over the packaging. The product name: Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream takes center stage on the front label, along with the claim of being ‘the Ancient Kamitians’ Secret Magical Healing Cream. ‘Peace, love and blessings unto you’ can also be found on the front label.
The back of the product label states Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream’s usages. How’s this for comprehensive product copy… ‘This legendary group of Ancient Kamitians (Ancient Egyptians) secretly applied this amazing, all-purpose healing skin and hair cream to treat pains, cuts and scrapes, chicken pox, to relieve razor burns, insect bites, skin blemishes, skin discolorations, dry, itchy and ashy skin, diaper and skin rash, skin fungus, hemorrhoids, chapped lips, cracked skin, as a hair cream, hot oil hair treatment, dry and itchy scalp, leg and facial hair shaving cream, after shave lotion, for sun and wind protection, vaginal and multi-moisturizer, hot body massage oil, super for daily maintenance of skin and hair’.
Also wisely stated on the back label is the disclaimer: ‘We make no medical claims. We only state the traditional secret uses of this product by the Ancient Kamitians (Egyptians)’.
Product ingredients
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream contains: Olive Oil, Bees Wax, Honey Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, Bee Propolis and Love.
Personal use
Let me plainly state that I have not used Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream for all of the purposes indicated. Primarily, I use it as a fantastic, petroleum free lip gloss/chap stick. When the skin on my face or hands gets particularly dry, as it does on long flights or in hotel rooms with forced, re-circulated air, it is an excellent balm. And not to sound too indelicate but I often use it to coat my parched nasal membranes (no visuals please).
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream has calmed my skin when it’s been burned, either from a sunburn or from an oven burn. And I’ve recommended it to friends who have used it to successfully heal fever blisters.
As for hair, I’ve used Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream in the place of a glossing serum. It’s also tamed crazy fly-away hair but I’ll warn you, just use a small amount on your hair. Otherwise, you’ll have a greasy mess.
Price and availability
Due to positive reviews of Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream in magazines such as Vogue, Allure, Lucky and Shape and favorable comments on The View, the product is much easier to find now. It’s available at most health food stores, Whole Foods Market and on Amazon.com to name a few places. Prices range from $26 to $30 dollars for a 4 ounce jar which lasts for a minimum of 6 months. There is even a money back guarantee.
Summary
This is a great product; I use it on my lips and hands every day. The ingredients are so harmless that it’s my first choice whenever a topical ointment is needed. The company website claims that ‘Egyptian Magic is a skin care cream with legendary healing powers due to its unique blend of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms’. Works for me.
Conclusion
I heartily recommend Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin and Hair Cream. Not only is this a multi-purpose beauty workhorse but I also find the product positioning strangely compelling. For me, the words on the back of the product label, both cheesy and uplifting, say it all. ‘Life takes from the taker and gives to the giver. Above all, let your word be your bond. Peace, divine love, perfect health, internal eternal wisdom and infinite blessings unto you precious one. Kamatian folklore recalls the existence of a miraculous healing cream secretly used by the great sages, mystics, magicians, and healers of Ancient Kamit (Ancient Egypt) to maintain smooth, glowing skin and beautiful radiant hair’. At least I think that’s what it says. Mine is smeared and dog-eared.
